Coney Island is an exciting, year-round entertainment destination for all to enjoy.

The oldest winter bathing club in the country, the Coney Island Polar Bears, kicks off each year in Coney with a New Year's Day swim.  In the Spring, don't miss the festivities at the Opening Day at Astroland and Deno's in March, or at the Beach Opening in May!  Activity in Coney Island reaches its peak in the summertime, with the Mermaid Parade, the Siren Festival, and the Hot Dog Eating Contests all drawing huge crowds.  Fall stays hot with the Coney Island Film Festival in September and Creepshow at the Freakshow in October.
