The Oldest Bar & Grill on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The current building was originally National Hebrew Deli until the late 1960's when it became knows as Ruby's. The business is still family owned and operated. Ruby's is the only full service bar & grill on the boardwalk with indoor seating. Voted best Dive bar in Brooklyn 1999, 2002, 2005. Best jukebox on the boardwalk 40 years running. The season is from Palm Sunday (April) thru Halloween (Oct 31st). January 1st Ruby's is open yearly for the Coney Island Annual Polar Bear Dip.
