The LIFE AND WORK OF ALBERT GRASS - FOUNDER OF THE CONEY ISLAND AMATEUR PSYCHOANALYTIC SOCIETY
To mark the end of the exhibition "Dreamland - The Coney Island Amateur Psychoanalytic Society and its Circle 1926 - 1972", Zoe Beloff will give a short talk on the Society's founder, Albert Grass. For the first time she will present her most recent discovery, "The Adventures of a Dreamer by Albert Grass", a journal in which he explores his dreams using the language of the comic book. She will discuss the influence of both Freud and Marx on his understanding of the unconscious. A facsimile of the journal will be published by Christine Burgin in September.
Following the talk, join us for the closing party!
