This is a Coney Island first that shouldn‘t be missed; a revival of an old time musical saloon act from the heyday of Coney Island served up with classic burlesque and a traditional live jazz band !! Now that is real entertainment Coney Island style! May 13th 9:00-10:30 PM

Coney Island's "Good Little Bad Girl", Miss Cherry Delight will sing songs from the burlesque and vaudeville stages of the 1910's-1930s. If you've never heard the intrepid and irrepressible Miss Delight sing before, you are in for a delicious treat. She'll entertain us with tunes made famous by Sophie Tucker, Ethel Waters, Helen Kane , Fanny Brice, Al Jolsen, Baby Rose Marie, and Louis Armstrong.

Miss Delight has that rare ability to make us laugh with her comic timing and rubber faced theatrics on novelty tunes, and also convince us that her story is absolutely true, every time she sings her songs of Love, Lust, and Loss; displaying an equal talent for tragic and comic lyrics.

The Big Tent Jazz Band will accompany Miss Delight in high style led by Jeff "Potatoes Browning" Weinman on ragtime/stride piano. Lucy Rae Weinman will blow her hot jazz trumpet. Jack Harkavy of The Red Onion Band and Harkavy's Hellcats fame will be on tuba, and clarinet virtuoso Will Anderson will offer his incredible solos.

If that's not enough.....there's going to be plenty of classic burlesque in the show with Coney Island's amazing and talented Lefty Lucy, Lily Stitches. and It's A Little Stormy. Miss Cherry Delight may even get scanty if she can catch her breath!
