Brought to you by Coney Island History Project
Did you ever ride the Parachute Jump? Did your grandparents visit Luna Park? Do you remember your first ride on the Cyclone? We want to hear your Coney Island story! Whether people visited Coney Island on vacation or grew up a short walk away from the Boardwalk and the beach, they have powerful and often indelible memories of their experiences. Taken together, these impressions make a vivid record of Coney Island over the decades.
To preserve this past, visitors are invited to record their Coney Island memories for the History Project's oral history archive. Selected interviews will be made available on our website as part of our Coney Island Voices exhibit, a record of visitors and their stories during the 2008 summer season.
