Polar Bear Swim

You may have read about the Polar Bears Club's New Year's swim.  There was a huge turnout this year.  It was an incredible amount of fun.  Check out some of the amazing pictures here.

The crazy thing though, is...they do this EVERY Sunday, November through April.  This group of brave (crazy?) souls launch themselves from the shores of Coney Island into the icy Atlantic.

So, come on down to join and shock your senses...

...or just sit safely on the shore as an amused observer, enjoying the winter beauty of the beach and ocean, and join the revelers after at Ruby's, The Freak Bar, or another fine Coney establishment.
