Celebrate the end of summer with a free screening of The Wiz in Kaiser Park!
The Wiz, a 1978 remake of the classic Wizard of Oz tale, is a famous retelling of an age-old story set in a familiar urban backdrop. With twists on the original characters, the Wiz follows the trials and travails of Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man (from Coney Island!), and Lion as they try to make their way back to the Land of Oz to meet The Wiz!
The movie will start at around dusk--approximately 7:30pm.
